She holds a Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Visual and Media Arts from the Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al (UQAM). Her practice primarily engages with printmaking and sculpture, exploring themes of memory, personal archives, and the ephemeral nature of life. Recipient of the Albert-Dumouchel Emerging Artist Award, her recent exhibitions include <em>Premi\u00e8re impression<\/em> (2026) at Arprim; <em>Fragments<\/em> (2026) at the Terraterre Biennial; <em>Libert\u00e9?<\/em> (2025) at Aussenwelt; <em>Passage \u00e0 d\u00e9couvert<\/em> (2025) at the UQAM Gallery; and <em>Param\u00e8tres<\/em> (2025) at Place des Arts. B\u00e9atrice has been actively involved in and passionate about the arts since her college studies, during which she completed a Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Visual Arts. Drawing inspiration from her personal family archives, she uses these materials to evoke the slippage and fragmentation of memory. Through their manipulation and transformation, she seeks to reconnect with these images while inscribing her own personal memories within them. Recently awarded the Albert-Dumouchel Emerging Artist Prize, B\u00e9atrice presented two works at Arprim. The first, <em>Materfamilias<\/em>, is a diptych that places an image of her grandmother in dialogue with a tarantula molt. Through this juxtaposition, the work explores themes of matriarchy, femininity, and the ephemeral nature of life. The second, <em>Spectres Breaking Rust<\/em>, is a series of vases that investigates the everyday object and its capacity to act as a vessel for memory. These pieces draw on the vase\u2019s potential as a relic of inherited history and reflect the artist\u2019s desire to reinvent the family photo album. Through a sensitive and material-based approach, the works presented at Arprim weave together images, materials, and fragments of the artist\u2019s personal memory. Between prints, ceramics, and rust, the ephemeral becomes inscribed and preserved. Viewers are invited to reflect on their own archives and memories, and on the fleeting moments that shape their personal histories.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">During her residency at l\u2019Imprimerie, B\u00e9atrice plans to deepen her research into ceramic printing processes while expanding her printmaking skills. The residency will also provide an opportunity to advance several concurrent projects, including the creation of an artwork for the cover of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/revueexsitu\"><em>Ex-Situ<\/em><\/a>, a student-run journal scheduled for publication this fall.
