d\u2019artistes<\/strong> strives to build a strong and distinctive artistic vision, centred on the interdisciplinary development of the printed and photographic image. Its goal is to encourage dialogue between disciplines, and bring about changes in artistic practices that go beyond the mere mixing of technologies. L\u2019imprimerie believes that insubordination and creative freedom are the true driving forces behind invention. In a context where the main focus is digital development, L\u2019imprimerie has chosen to embrace the material aspect of images, and to use digital technologies as a way of updating analogue processes.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition <em><strong>Le Chantier, a research project on the printed and photographic image <\/strong><\/em> at the Maison de la culture Maisonneuve is the result of a vast research and creation project that began in the fall of 2018, bringing together artists <strong>Gwena\u00ebl B\u00e9langer, Mathilde Forest, Mathieu Grenier, C\u00e9line Huyghebaert, Janie Julien-Fort, Camille Lamy, St\u00e9phanie Nuckle, Eliza Olkinitskaya et \u00c9tienne Tremblay-Tardif.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The artists\u2019 and L\u2019imprimerie\u2019s proposition unfolds in two separate spaces. <strong>In the main hall<\/strong>, <em>Le Chantier<\/em> keeps evolving throughout the whole exhibition. Several of the artists will be present to work on their installation projects and research displays. <strong>In the second hall, guest artist-curators <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carolineboileau.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Caroline Boileau<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stephanegilot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">St\u00e9phane Gilot<\/a><\/strong> , who were invited to reflect on <em>Le Chantier<\/em>&#8216;s, collective, gathered various traces (whether artwork or artefacts) of the artists\u2019 research into a <em>landmap-table<\/em>, a form of collective and
