” For just over a year, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing the artists’ explorations at L’imprimerie; the surprises and serendipity that arise during production. I’ve met generous members who exchange about their creative processes daily and help each other by sharing their expertise in printmaking.

The presentations and workshops I attended opened a world of creative possibilities, questioning my own artistic practice and its sustainability. I’ve been lucky enough to take part in several training courses at L’imprimerie, most recently a Photogravure course with Carlos Calado, during which I was able to better understand the work behind the print and marvel at the magic of iron perchloride! Little by little, I’m becoming familiar with the language of print and the equipment at L’imprimerie.
