Tucker Kapp – Artist presentation
Guest artist presentation: Poetry and typography with Tucker Kapp
Friday, December 9th, 2022 at 1 PM
L’imprimerie proudly welcomes artist-printmaker-typographer Tucker Kapp from September to December 2022 as he visits Montreal. The artist will be offering to members and the community a presentation of his work and a printing demonstration with the Vandercook press on Friday, December 9th, 2022 from 1 to 4 pm. Participants will learn more about the artist’s poetic writing process and discover the features of the letterpress.

Tucker Kapp
Tucker Kapp is a printmaker-artist-typographer, poet and playwright. He is currently a doctoral student at UQAM in Études et pratiques des arts. He is undertaking a thesis-creation to understand how the tool (manual/bodily, mechanical or digital) alters the artist’s relationship to the creative process. American by origin and Montrealer at times, he normally lives in rural France where he runs a small press and typographic printing shop, Les Écrits 9.
