Le Chantier, an internal expertise

Guest artists portraits: Claude Arseneault and Elmyna Bouchard

In residency from July 2021 to July 2023

The Chantier will be an opportunity to highlight the considerable contribution of two artists who have established the foundations of ecoresponsibility in the studio. Spotlight on Claude Arseneault and Elmyna Bouchard!

Guest experts Claude Arseneault and Elmyna Bouchard will explore the possibilities of eco-responsible photolithography based on personal artistic projects. The experiments and results will be done in collaboration and will aim at setting up samples and a technical procedure to facilitate our members’ autonomy.

Claude Arseneault is a pioneer in the development of eco-responsible printmaking practices in Montreal. The artist has exhibited her work across Canada and internationally and has completed several residencies including at the University of Lafayette in Louisiana and at the Scuola International di Grafica in Venice.
