Sarah Hildebrand – Custom residency

Since 2020, my approach has evolved towards an attitude of letting go and inner confidence. I explore intuitive, vivid and colorful ways to enter a poetic, musical, associative and sensitive space. I mix with fluidity and authenticity paper, wire, beads, feathers, wood, paint, ink. Everything is allowed. Rather than a conceptual approach, I enjoy deploying a universe of joy and play. Within the framework of the residency at L’imprimerie, I wish to realize on the basis of my blog Voyage de recherche – a kind of digital and artistic diary, where I gather observations, photographs, texts, drawings, sounds – an analog, experimental, sensory and playful artist’s book where the printing processes mix and overlap. An ode-pamphlet revealing the past, honoring the present and celebrating the life in and around us.
