L’imprimerie invites you to discover T’es une pépite d’or, a cultural mediation project led by artist Maggy Flynn. Developed over two years, the project unfolded through creative workshops offered in public spaces aboard her 1974 Grumman truck. During the event, enjoy a live screenprinting session with the young TAPAJEURS and take the opportunity to purchase their creations!

This project is carried out in partnership with various community organizations, including the CRIC and Spectre de rue, notably through their TAPAJ program, which provides people experiencing severe social and financial insecurity with economic support in the form of short-term community involvement activities.

Through collage, screenprinting, postering, and audio, T’es une pépite d’or aims to amplify the voices and visibility of marginalized populations. By using art as a tool for connection, the project highlights the voices, talents, and richness of the residents of the Centre-Sud and Hochelaga neighborhoods.

This project is funded as part of the Montréal Cultural Development Agreement between the City of Montréal and the Government of Québec, and supported by Maison de la culture Janine-Sutto as well as L’imprimerie, centre d’artistes.

The event is free, wheelchair accessible, and children are welcome! Organic Boldwin beer will be available for purchase. Card payment is preferred.

L’imprimerie is located on the unceded Indigenous territory of Tiohtiá:ke / Mooniyang. The Kanien’kehá:ka Nation is recognized as the traditional custodians of the lands and waters on which we gather.
